Hex Security is now Parameter
Hex Security is now Parameter. The company behind both names is the same one it has always been, Anytool, Inc., and the product is the same set of autonomous security agents. What changed is the name on the door and the address: hex.co is now parameter.ai.
We're publishing this as the canonical public record of the change, so customers, partners, registrars, and anyone doing due diligence has one page to point at.
What changed
The brand. "Hex Security" is retired; the company now operates as Parameter.
The domain. parameter.ai is the new home, and hex.co brings you here. New email addresses are on @parameter.ai; our security contact is security@parameter.ai.
What didn't change
The legal entity. Anytool, Inc. is still the company you contracted with. Existing agreements, DPAs, and invoices are unaffected, and there is nothing you need to re-sign or update.
The product and the team. The same agents run the same pentests against the same targets, and the people behind them haven't gone anywhere. You still sign in at app.hex.co.
Why the new name
"Hex Security" described the first thing we built: autonomous penetration testing. The platform has since grown past that one word, into cloud security, supply chain, and continuous monitoring, and the old name kept getting narrower relative to what the agents actually do. Parameter is the name for the whole thing.
